BiPAP®Pro 2 with Bi-Flex®Bi-Flex "softens" the airflow in inhalation and exhalation, making breathing more natural - and unbelievable more comfortable - for patients. In the Bi-Flex mode, the amount of pressure relief at the end of inhalation and at the beginning of exhalation is established. Patient-adjustable settings of "1", "2" or "3" provide pregressively increased pressure relief.
Combines a host of features from our established OSA therapy products. The BiPAP Pro with Bi-Flex bi-level system makes breathing easier and more natural for adult patients with Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA) who are having difficulty complying with continuous positive airway pressure therapy. Bi-Flex technology “softens” the airflow in inhalation and exhalation to settings of 1, 2 or 3 to provide increased pressure relief, making breathing more comfortable for the patient. In the BiPAP mode, the Comfort Control feature establishes the time that the BiPAP Pro takes to change from EPAP to IPAP. Digital Auto-Trak Sensitivity™ automatically triggers the device to cycle between inspiratory and expiratory pressures based on the patient’s breathing rhythm. Auto-Trak also compensates for any leaks that may occur. The Encore® SmartCard® stores information on system use, therapy and quality of life. The SmartCard can be programmed with the patient’s prescription settings so they are automatically transferred to the device when the card is inserted. Also includes Functional Outcomes of Sleep Questionnaire (FOSQ) so patients can periodically complete the questionnaire, and the data – recorded on the SmartCard – can be used to assess compliance.

ALS or neuromuscular patients may also benefit from the therapy provided by Synchrony. Synchrony can be adapted to meet a patient's needs by offering flexibility in treatment options. The unit can be upgraded from Spontaneous Mode (S) to a version with Spontaneous/Timed Mode (S/T). For greater flexibility, the unit has continuous positive airway pressure, Timed- and Pressure-Control Modes. Digital Auto-Trak Sensitivity™ has enhanced leak compensation to allow for better matching of the patient's breathing pattern. Vent Ramp and RiseTime™ also aid in the delivery of comfortable ventilation. Features a broad pressure range of 4 to 30 cm H2O and the ability to collect patient therapy, compliance and machine data using an optional built-in modem.
